Yoga and Core Strength and Conditioning

At A.G Pusey Associates Haywards Heath, we now have a highly experienced yoga teacher providing 1-to-1 yoga and core strength and conditioning sessions..

 Katie Strachan - Qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga.









Katie discovered yoga whilst living in Hong Kong in 1995, and has enjoyed teaching from gyms and her home for over 15 years since. Yoga has seen her through eight years in the events industry in London, a professional interior design career and motherhood. Katie is constantly evolving and learning about the body, mind, spirit and breath and has recently been developing her practice to include meditation and a more restorative approach. Katie enjoys teaching a creative vinyasa flow to all abilities, mixed with breath and mindfulness.

Katie is passionate about helping people find a way to relax and strengthen their bodies, adapting the class to suit the student whilst being aware of alignment and good core strength. In light of this, Katie's first appointment is a 25 minute consultation where she will talk to you and find out about your own individual needs. Following this, she will recommend the level of yoga she thinks will be the most beneficial. Clients are then able to book this on a one to one basis.

As well as yoga, Katie offers strength and conditioning sessions. These 30 minute sessions are  aimed at those who want to develop core strength and who want to tone all the major muscle groups. These sessions are accessible to all and can be run from a chair, mat or standing. Katie will also assist you with developing a short and effective programme for you to do at home in between sessions.
